Romance movie review, Romance Movie stills

Release date : 02 August 2013Starring : Prince, Dimple Chopda, Manasa
Director : Darling Swamy
Producer : SKN, G.Srinivas Rao
Music Director : Sai Karthik

The film ‘Romance’ has released today across the state. Directed by Darling Swamy and produced by Good Cinema Group, the movie has been endorsed by Maruthi. The A rated flick has come in with good expectations,so let us see if the film has what it takes.
Story :
Krishna (Prince) is an engineering student. He is always on the lookout for the perfect girlfriend, preferably a virgin. He does not believe in pre-marital sex etc and he expects the same from his prospective girlfriends.

Lalitha aka Lola (Manasa) is the first woman to come into his life. She comes across as an aggressive young woman. Lola likes Krishna’s frankness and the two of them start dating each other. However, Krishna discovers that Lola is way too aggressive for him and breaks up with her.

At this point of time, Anuradha (Dimple) makes an entry into the story. She comes across as a nice and traditional girl and Krishna instantly falls in love. Anu also responds and just as their love story is about to take off, Lola comes back into his life to create problems. She creates rifts between Krishna and Anu.

Krishna must now prove his innocence. What happens next? That is the story of this film.

Plus Points :
The best moment in the film is that of Mukesh’s cigarette and gutka warning clipping, which comes in when the hero tries to smoke for the first time. Apart from that, Sai manages to induce some humour as Bluetooth Bobby.
Prince is ok, but he needs to work on his expressions. Dimple looks good. Manasa is strictly average. The film may appeal to some people who love extremely vulgar dialogues.
The interval twist, where a secret about Lalitha is revealed, is nice.
Minus Points :
The film suffers from poor pace. ‘Ee Rojullo’ and ‘Bus Stop’ worked primarily because of the good pace and high entertainment quotient. Sadly, both are missing in this film.
The plot of this film is very stale and the narration is poor. The films has many cliched and outdated sequences. As in many ‘adult’ comedies that have been coming out recently, the sole aim of the film is to create a scene for Boys vs Girls superiority debate.

The mimicry scene where the actor tries to imitate Chandra Babu Naidu, V. Hanumantha Rao and KCR did not work well. In a similar way, the scenes where the girls danced to old songslike ‘Raguluthondhi Mogalipodha’ etc. failed to click.

The scene in the ladies hostel where the hero turns emotional is very superficial. Climax sequence could have been better.
Technical Aspects:
Cinematography is just average. Editing is not very smooth but this could be due to the hugenumber of censor cuts that were recommended by the board.Dialogues by Darling Swamy are not very effective. One gets the feeling that he just tried to blindly imitate Maruthi.
Swamy also fails to make a positive impression as a director. He needs to work on his narration techniques. Music and background score are just very average.
Verdict :
‘Romance’ comes across as an attempt to blindly replicate the success of A rated entertainers like ‘Bus Stop’ and ‘Ee Rojullo’. But this movie does not come close to those two films in terms of entertainment quotient or pace. ‘Romance’ may earn some money in B and C centers due to the double meaning dialogues and vulgarity, but it ends up being a big disappointment.

Kevvu Keka Movie Review

Release date : 19 July 2013
Director : Devi Prasad C
Producer : Boppana Chandrasekhar
Music Director : Bheems, Chinni Charan
Starring : Allari Naresh, Sharmila Mandre

Comedy King Allari Naresh has teamed up with Sharmila Mandre and director Devi Prasad for the comedy film ‘Kevvu Keka’. Boppana Chandrasekhar is the producer. The movie has released today, so let us see of if it is going to entertain as promised.

Story :

Buchi Raju (Allari Naresh) is a salesman in Kalanikethan Mall. He lives with his uncle Abrakadabra Appa Rao (Krishna Bhagawan), who is a magician. Buchi Raju happens to come across Maha Lakshmi (Sharmila Mandre) one fine day and falls in love with her. Maha Lakshmi also responds to Buchi Babu and they fall in love.

Maha Lakshmi’s father Subba Rao (M.S.Narayana) does not approve of this alliance as Buchi Raju is not a rich guy. To win Maha Lakshmi’s hand, Buchi Raju promises to earn a lot of money within 6 months and leaves.

Through his uncle Appa Rao, he comes to know about a Bangkok businessman named Gottam Gopalakrishna (Ashish Vidyardhi) and a fortune that is waiting for him. Armed with thisinformation, Buchi Raju decides to go to Bangkok to seek his money.

What happens next? Will Buchi Raju succeed in his efforts? That forms the story of this film.

Plus Points :

Allari Naresh was his usual self in this film. He succeeded in entertaining viewers to a certain extent with his comedy timing and mannerisms. He also looked quite stylish in this film. Sharmila Mandre has done a good job. Ashish Vidyardhi is very effective in a full length comedy.

Krishna Bhagawan, Ali and Dhan Raj entertain parts. The first half of the movie has some good moments. The shopping mall episode, party episode and the song medleys have come out well. Entertainment quotient in the first half is decent.

Minus Points :

The film’s second half is a big letdown. Comedy quotient drops alarmingly here and the film seems to drag on and on.

The director has concentrated more on coming up with a confusion drama in the second half and this has not worked well. A senior and talented comedian like M.S.Narayana has been wasted in this film.

The romantic track between Naresh and Sharmila Mandre should have been better. It is quite superficial. Songs act as speed breakers for this movie and do not help the proceedings at all.
The climax block is dragged out.

Technical Aspects :

Cinematography is ok. The editor should have trimmed off a number of scenes in the secondhalf. Background score is just about ok.

Devi Prasad has handled the direction, screenplay and story departments. He has not done justice to any of them. He loses control of the film in the second half.

Verdict :

Kevvu Keka has a decent first half but the film goes downhill in the second half. Allari Naresh has tried his best, but that is not enough to save this film.

OM 3D Movie Review:

Release date : 19 July 2013

Director : Sunil Reddy C
Producer : Kalyan Ram
Music Director : Achu , Sai Karthik
Starring : Kalyan Ram, Kriti Kharbanda, Nikesha Patel

After a long gap, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is testing his fortunes at the Box Office with the film ‘OM’. The movie has been produced with a big budget and it has been shot in 3D format. Nikeesha Patel and Kriti Kharbandha are the heroines in the movie. Sunil Reddy is the director. The film has released today, so let us see how it is.

Story :

Arjun (Kalyan Ram) loves his dad Harischandra Prasad (Karthik) and is a devoted son. Father and son share a great bond. The family has some enemies and chief among them is Byrreddy (Rao Ramesh). Byrreddy tries his best to assassinate Harischandra Prasad but he is thwarted every time by Arjun.

Into this scenario comes in Anjali (Kriti Kharbandha). Arjun falls for her charm and good nature. As expected, love blossoms between the two. But the story needs a twist now and in comes Rhea (Nikisha Patel). Rhea is the daughter of Harischandra Prasad’s friend (Ahuthi Prasad).

Meanwhile, Byrreddy decides to seek the help of Sampath Raj, who is also a sworn enemy of Harischandra Prasad. A battle for revenge begins and Arjun discovers some shocking truths that shake the very foundations of his life.

What are those truths? Will he succeed in protecting his father’s life? That forms the story of OM 3D

Plus Points :

Kalyan Ram looks decent in a few action sequences. Kriti Kharbandha looks quite beautiful in the film. Nikeesha Patel brings in the required glamour touch.

Veteran actor Karthik has delivered a classy performance and he will be a good fit for character roles in Telugu Films. Suresh has done a good job. Some 3D effects are decent. Rao Ramesh entertains to a certain extent with his Srikakulam slang.

The short run time is an asset for this movie. The climax twist and interval twists are neat.

Minus Points :

When a film does not have good story or screenplay, no amount of technical expertise can save it. ‘OM’ is a movie which does not require 3D at all. Except for a few 3D shots, most of them fail to make an impression.

VFX is very poor. One scene which sorely stands out is that trailer explosion scene on the bridge. The VFX quality of that scene is very poor.

There are way too many fights in this movie. The story does not have a logical flow and there are some unexplained gaps in the plot.

Viewers will find it tough to connect to the story emotionally. Entertainment quotient is also very low.

Technical Aspects :

Ajayan Vincent’s cinematography is just mediocre. Editing is very jerky and does not help matters at all. Background score is quite mediocre and does not help matters much.

Sunil Reddy’s direction leaves a lot to be desired. He should have taken better care about the screenplay. Production values are decent.

Verdict :

‘OM’ is just another loud and clichéd action drama with a very routine plot. The 3D effects do not add much value for the movie. Some good performances and one or two nice moments are just about the only things that work in this film.

Sahasam Movie review:

Moive:Sahasam (2013)
Cast: Gopichand,Tapasee Pannu,Shakti Kapoor,Ali
Director: Chandrasekhar Yeleti
Producer: B V N S Prasad
Music Director: Shri
Lyrics: Ananth Sriram
Singers:RanjithSharmilaKarunyaPriya
Gopichand and Chandrasekhar Yeleti have teamed up for the adventure flick ‘Sahasam’. The movie is gearing up for a big release tomorrow. We have been to an exclusive premiere at Prasad Labs and we are now bringing you the first review of the film. How good is ‘Sahasam’ ? Read on to find out.
Story :
Goutham (Gopichand) works as a guard in a private security agency. His ambition in life is to become very rich, very fast.Goutham keeps buying lottery tickets and consults babas in order to achieve his goals. He keeps getting disappointed with the results and curses his luck. But fate has other ideas for him.
Goutham realises that his grandfather Varma (Suman) is a very wealthy man. Varma used to run a prosperous diamond trading business in Peshawar, before the partition. Goutham comes across a will that describes the riches left by Varma for his successors. Unfortunately, the riches are in Pakistan and they are tied to the legendary Hinglaj Devi temple.
Armed with his grandfather’s will and artefacts, Goutham sets out to Pakistan in order to claim his riches. He seeks the help of Sreenidhi (Tapsee), who is an advocate of Hindu religion and its greatness. But Goutham’s journey is not easy. He realises that some dreaded Pakistani terrorists, headed by Sultan (Shakti Kapoor), are after the same property. The stakes are much bigger and the treasure hunt now involves as fabulous horde belonging to the Kanishka empire.
Will Goutham succeed in claiming the riches that belong to him? That forms the rest of the story.
Plus Points :
Gopichand excels in the role of Goutham. He is very good in the action sequences and his body language is perfect for that role. Tapsee is quite good in this film as a devout and slightly naive young woman. Ali entertains to a certain extent as Khayamat Raju.
Shakti Kapoor is simply brilliant as the evil terrorist Sultan. His transformation and performance are very authentic. Narayana Murthy is ok as Gopichand’s father. Suman has a brief role and he has done a good job.
The film’s theme and story are quite novel for Telugu cinema. Chandrasekhar Yeleti must be commended for handling the project in a very competent way. The visuals are very grand and Ladakh has been captured quite majestically. Pakistani ambience has been recreated quite successfully and authentically.
The treasure hunt, the intricate clues that lead to it and the special effects are quite thrilling. Fans of films like National Treasure, Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones will enjoy this movie.
The film’s action sequences deserve special mention. They have been choreographed quite realistically. The gun fights and the car chases are good. The interval and climax episodes have been conceived quite nicely.
Minus Points :
Some cinematic liberties have been taken. For example, a Hyderabadi security guard manages to sneak into the residence of a dreaded Pakistani terrorist with absolute ease and impunity. The emotional intensity in the film keeps dipping at times.
Ali’s comedy track should have been more substantial. Masses in B and C centers might find it tough to connect with the film as commercial elements like comedy and glamour are missing from the film.
The much hyped Buzkashi episode is not as great as one would expect.
Technical Aspects :
Shyam Dutt’s cinematography is a major asset for the movie. His work has given the film a very sophisticated feel. Art direction is excellent. Sri’s background score is pretty good and he has delivered nicely. Editing is neat.
Chandrasekhar Yeleti has succeeded in delivering a technically superior adventure flick. Given the budget constraints, he has done a commendable job. He should have taken some care about the entertainment quotient in the film.

Mallelateeramlo Sirimallepuvvu Movie Review:

Cast: Kranti, Sri Divya, Rao Ramesh, Soumya and others

Release Date: July 05, 2013

Written and directed by:Ramaraju
Produced by: Uma Devi
Co-produced by:Suryanarayana Akundi

Banner: Godavari Cinema
Music: Pavan Kumar
Cinematography: Bal Reddy

Editing: Dharmendra Kakarala

She is young and beautiful. She is just married. Earning money is all important for her husband least bothering about wife. Passion for music, especially singing songs, is what drives her in life. Marital life is in shambles! One day she meets a young poet.

He writes lyrics for movie songs. Content with whatever he is earning, writing poetry, living in a tastefully decorated home. A perfect life! Or so it seems to her. They become good friends over cups of coffee, chatting incessantly about life, literature, songs, and singing songs themselves. Songs, songs, songs, every moment in life, everyday! Life is a song, she feels. Days pass. And they form a deep bond to sing duets in real life. Will she dare step come out from her married life to settle with her new friend?

Story sounds very interesting, right? Well, it does! More so, if you have inclination towards poetry or music. New director Ramaraju's Mallela Teeramlo Sirimalle Puvvu is a beautifully shot personal film. Yes, indeed it is a very personal film because the movie exhibits his taste - music, poetry, an idea of love or romance that has more old world charm. It is all about people reaching to the shores of what they really want in life - Mallela Teeram (Coastline of Jasmines).

This entire love story between a married woman and an unmarried young lyricist is told through songs, bereft of any commercial trappings. There is so much of poetic touch in capturing the images, and expressing the lover's feelings.

In one way, it is good to see a director completely dwelling on two lead characters and their feelings. But after a time, these scenes become repetitive, as they keep on singing and singing or chatting constantly. Also, the film is very slow. The unhurried pace tests the patience in the post-interval.

Major part of the story happens at a fixed place - his residence, or a street nearby. This staged setting looks visually bright but the camera (good photography by Bal Reddy) constantly lingering on the two characters sans much moment gives a feeling of watching a stage play. Or perhaps, the director shot it deliberately to make us feel more intimate with the characters. Whatever be the reason, for me this static camera blocks are big no no.

Since the film is musical love story, music ought to be good. True to the storyline, the director has extracted mellifluous songs from music director (by newcomer Pavan Kumar) and beautiful verse from lyricist. Background score is also effective.

The film completely lies on the shoulders of this bright young actress Sri Divya. In a role that requires matured acting, this girl (hardly 20 years old) carries off it so well with so much understanding. Her expressive eyes speaks volumes. As a lanky, idealistic lyricist Kranthi fits well.

New director Ramaraju has shot the film without injecting commercial elements. He has made the film in his own idealistic manner. Also he expresses a woman's feelings so well with his dialogues.

Bottom-line

Mallela Teeramlo Sirimalle Puvvu is a film that more appeals to the niche audiences who can savor the unhurried romance, music and lyrics. Slow pace and too much of discussion about poetry, life, philosophy and music might not go well with the majority of audiences. This one is for discerning viewers.

Singam(YAMUDU-2) Movie Review:

Moive: Singam
Starring: Suriya,Hansika,Anushka
Director: Hari
Producer: S.Lakshman Kumar
Banner: Studio Green
Music: Devi Sri Prasad
Suriya starrer Singam 2 has released worldwide with highest number of prints. Touted as a high voltage action entertainer, Singam 2 begins from the end point of Singam and Doraisingam will take on much powerful villains with international linkups this time.
Hansika and Santhanam joins the cast and British actor Danny plays antagonist. Radharavi, Nasser, Rahman, Manorama, Vivek played other supporting roles. The commercial mass masala potboiler Singam 2 is directed by Hari and produced by Prince Pictures banner with Devi Sri Prasad’s music.
Singam 2 has been made with a whopping budget with rich production values shot in exotic beautiful locales. Director Hari says that it would be a feast to watch Suriya in Singam 2. The unit members are quite confident on Singam 2’s success and the expectations have reached sky high.
Singam 2  is coming with the caption ‘An Indian Police’. A new trend has swept into sequel movies genre of late. No actor from previous movie will feature in the new movie. Even backdrop will be different. Singam 2 is not like that. Same story from the earlier movie continues in the new one. Even actors will be same but with additions of new actors and new twists.
* Duraisingam (Surya) is fond of his village. He loves police job. He comes to his home town as police officer but later gets transferred to Goa. What situations he faces there was Yamudu’s story. But in sequel he has to go to foreign country. What challenges he faced there, how he shows Indian police power there is the story.

Singam 2 Story:
Singam 2 is the continuing story of Duraisingam, as he hunts down a huge drug deal.
Singam 2 kicks off right from where Singam ended. Suriya is now in Tuticorin, an NCC coach in a school where Hansika studies. A series of events leads Suriya gathering info about a drug deal taking place in the area. The first 30 minutes of the movie are bland, and the movie does take its time to unfold. Towards the interval, Hari keeps us pinned with his crisp narration, well thought dialogues coupled with witty one liner comedy from Santhanam and Vivek. The interval bang is spot on, that is one superb scene.
Into the second half, and the movie traverses on jet speed. Hari’s thinking works here, as he overlaps the main story with the comic and dramatic scenes. The movie, even though put down by a few speed breakers(songs) and a not-so-great climax, moves on at a good pace and ends convincingly.
Stars Performance in Singam 2 Movie:
Performance wise, Suriya is at full swing, perfect when it comes to dialogue delivery, facial expressions and his ‘veri’ as a cop. Stunts have been well executed, and he has pulled off some cheeky movements in Singam Dance. What Singam 2 will probably do is put an end to all the negativity on Suriya. This guy has lived the role.Hansika has a fairly mightier role to play than the main heroine, Anushka who has been carved as a glam doll just for the sake of the songs. Vivek is hilarious, while Santhanam does bore you down a bit at times. What Singam 2 lacks is a powerful villain. Yes we have Danny Sapani, Rahman, Mukesh Rishi and Rajendran. But none of them could catch up to Prakash Raj’s enthu as in Singam. Supporting artists are apt, most of them continuing off their roles from the first.
Singam 2 Technicalities:
If a movie runs for 3 hours, and can manage to keep you entertained, you got to give credit to the director. Even though a little more care could have been taken, Hari must be lauded for his work. Dialogue writing is his strength and he has lived up to it, few lines do prick you up.
Cinematography by Priyan is commendable. One must appreciate the use of chopper cameras at various instances to provide a different angle. Editing is slick barring the long runtime. Stunts deserve a special mention, Anal Arasu and Rocky Rajesh – super work!
Negative Points in Singam 2:
Negatives in Singam 2, and we have DSP written all over it. Bad songs, except for Singam Dance which is saved by Suriya’s movements, and the BGM too isn’t that great. The songs surely broke down the flow of the movie, would be great to chop them off. Santhanam wasn’t at his best either, and we have some over-the-top stunts to worry about.
Draw a comparison to the first, and Singam 2 might not beat that. At the same time, it doesn’t get bobbed down. It has enough stock to keep you entertained. Go watch it, you’ll like it. If you don’t, best of luck being a hater.
Positives of Singam 2 Movie:

*Santhanam will dish out hilarious comedy. Santhanam amused with his comedy even in Yamudu.

*Hansika turned Singam into a triangle love story with her entry. Anjali will appear in a hot song.
*Devi Sri Prasad music will impress masses. Singam dance bit has already created buzz. Besides to mass tunes, DSP mark melody will also be present.

*Hari is an expert in dealing action episodes. Though story will be routine, action episodes are picturised on grand scale lavishly, promising high octane entertainment for masses. In fact, its action sequences which will decide the fate of this movie.

*An action sequence has been shot underwater in the sea. This underwater action episode is said to be the highlight of the movie.
*Surya Brothers have been facing tough time at box office of late. Their ‘Brothers’ and ‘Shakuni’ movies have been sent back. Singam has to roar at box office, if these Tamil Brothers have to regain their form.
Verdict : Beats all odds. Makes you realize the power of the Singam!

Here is the BALUPU REVIEW:

Story :
Ravi (Ravi Teja) is a recovery agent for a bank. He leads a simple life in the city of Bangalore along with his father (Prakash Raj). He comes across Shruti (Shruti Haasan) and her uncle Crazy Mohan ( Brahmanandam ) unexpectedly. Shruthi and her uncle have a habit of cheating gullible young men and Ravi decides to teach them a lesson.
In this process, Shruti and Ravi fall for each other. Shruthi’s father (Nasser) and Prakash Raj also agree to the alliance. But things take a violent turn with the entry of Vizag Poorna (Ashutosh Rana). He reveals some shocking truths about Ravi and Prakash Raj.
Ravi and Prakash Raj have a violent past and that past also involves Anjali (Anjali).
What are those truths? What role does Anjali have in Ravi’s life? That forms the rest of the story.
Plus Points :
Ravi Teja has toned down his energy levels for this role. He looks superb in the mass character and he has uttered the punch dialogues with conviction. This is perhaps his best commercial project after ‘Mirapakai’. Welcome back!
Shruti Haasan looks ultra gorgeous in the movie. She sizzles in the song ‘Padipoyaanila’ and her glamour will be a big asset in B and C centers. Anjali has a crucial role in the film and she has done a good job.
Entertainment quotient is high in the first half. Brahmanandam entertains as Crazy Mohan and he steals the show during the climax episodes. Comedy sequences involving Ravi Teja and Brahmanandam are good. Prakash Raj has delivered yet another classy performance. Ashutosh Rana is effective.
Mass masala scenes and hero elevations sequences have come out well. The interval bang, where Prakash Raj and Ravi Teja fight together, lifts emotions to peak levels. The flashback episodes have good commercial appeal. Climax sequences have been handled well, especially the Jhamping Jhapak episode.
Lakshmi Rai looks good and her song has been shot well. The romantic duet ‘Ninu Choosina Kshanam lo’ has been shot beautifully.
Minus Points :
The story of this movie is very simple and quite routine. The main plot will seem quite familiar for Telugu viewers and the movie proceeds along predictable lines.
The film loses pace in the second half and some sequences seem unnecessarily dragged out. If not for an entertaining climax block, the film would have suffered. The rivalry between the two warring factions should have been elevated further.
The placement of the last song, ‘Pathikella Chinnadhi’, could have been better. Ali’s comedy scenes appear forced and do not really help the film. The romantic track between Ravi Teja and Anjali is quite superficial.
Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, Supreet, Fish Venkat and Adithya Menon are wasted in insignificant roles.
Technical Aspects :
Cinematography is a mixed bag. The songs have beautiful visuals but things are not so great when it comes to some of the talkie sequences. Screenplay is good during the first half but it is not upto the mark in the second half. Editing could have been better. Veligonda Srinivas’s dialogues work well and some of them have ‘double meanings’. These will work well in B and C Centers.
Thaman’s background score is effective. Gopichand Malineni has succeeded in showcasing Ravi Teja well. He scores good marks as a director with this movie. Production values are good.
Verdict :
With ‘Balupu’, we can perhaps say that Ravi Teja is back! His mass look and powerful punch dialogues work well. Shruti Haasan’s glamour and Brahmanandam’s comedy are major assets. A slow second half and routine storyline bring down the overall experience a little. ‘Balupu’ ends up being a mass masala entertainer that is definitely worth a watch.

Movie:Moksha
Cast : meera jasmine
Director : Srikanth Vemulapalli
Producer : P Amarnath Reddy
Chubby and cute. That’s Meera Jasmine for you. What, if she were to be cruel also? Say, like a blood-sucking vampire! Phew! She’d get your goat. And you’d run for cover. The others had no chance.
Moksha (Meera Jasmine) is a pampered girl. Her father, single after her mother’s death, dotes on her so much that he will not even accept her step into the kitchen. Or even step out of the house, as we see later. The only time she seems to step out of her flat as her neighbour Srinu (Rajeev Mohan) observes is during the night.
Srinu’s friends rag him at college and there’s a vamp who tries to cling on to him. Instead, Srinu prefers the vampire – not knowing that only human blood can satisfy her thirst and hunger. Meanwhile, there are mysterious murders in town. There’s no clue to the serial killings which happen at night. No, the killer isn’t Moksha.
Moksha hardly talks but she infuses confidence in Srinu as their friendship gets stronger. The timid Srinu gives his college mates a taste of what he can dish out if he were to get real angry. No, Srinu does not use that knife is secretly carries in his college bag and does not kill.
But who is behind those mystery murders? You’d have to wait until the interval and the chilling fact is revealed. Moksha’s father, a security guard (Nassar) is the killer on the prowl. He kills and Moksha sucks the blood of the victim. On one occasion, he’s caught and the victim he is after, throws acid on his face. Death is inevitable. Moksha does not hesitate to even kill her father, at his own request, and suck his blood.
How then does the loving daughter turn into a vampire and still be a human? Director Srikanth Vemulapalli makes Moksha herself narrate her tale to Srinu who now realises with whom he had developed such good friendship. It’s time to take a decision about the girl he has innocently harboured in the house.
Forget the not so well framed shots at certain places in the movie and the repetitive scenes that do not add to the narration but the director has shown he can handle suspense the way it has to be. Rajeev Mohan was as plain as he was to be for the role. As for Meera Jasmine who had a completely deglamourised look all through the film, the talent was seen in the way she looked at her would-be victims -cool and cruel.
